Last Friday, I found myself amongst crowds of screaming teens, shooting the new-to-Montreal Virgin Festival. It was my first experience doing this sort of thing with full access to the “photographer’s pit”. It was actually pretty fun to be able to concentrate on shooting rather than on not elbowing people in the face, although I was told that some of the photogs can get pretty rough too. It’s ok though, I may not have their 300mm “bra” lens, but I am taller.
